New ReStore Coming to Northwest Austin
Here we grow again!
We are so excited to announce the opening of our third local ReStore later this summer. Located at the intersection of North Highway 183 and Lake Creek Parkway (13804 N US-183, Austin, TX 78750), this expansion will serve the rapidly growing Northwest Austin area. This third ReStore will join the ranks of existing Austin Habitat for Humanity ReStores in South Austin and San Marcos.
Austin Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit discount home improvement stores and donation centers. Every purchase and donation aids Austin Habitat for Humanity’s mission to build homes, communities, and hope. Austin’s growth has sparked an affordable housing crisis, making ReStore’s work even more critical. Our city’s original ReStore opened in East Austin in 1992, making it the first ReStore in the nation. Since then, our ReStores have diverted more than 37.5 million pounds from the landfill and helped us build hundreds of homes for families in need in Central Texas.
Our ReStores can’t operate without the generosity of our donors! Bring gently used furniture, appliances, cabinetry, flooring, home décor, clothing, and more to our South Austin or San Marcos ReStore locations or schedule a donation pickup online. Click here for a complete list of items we accept.
