DIY: Repurposed Puzzle Picture Frame
We pieced together a super simple Valentine’s Day craft from ReStore items. 💗 Learn how to create a puzzle piece frame for your special someone – furry friends allowed!
Step 1: Gather materials
🎨 paint – $3
🖼 picture frame – $1
🧩 puzzle – $.50 – $1
Step 2: Paint
Lay out the puzzle pieces and lightly spray them with the first coat of paint. Using two light coats will allow them to dry faster and have a more even color. We used red acrylic paint and a small paintbrush to change the color of our wooden frame.
Step 3: Glue
We used white glue to adhere the puzzle pieces to the frame because we had an eager, little helper! Hot glue is another great option for a quick stick.
Once your puzzle picture frame is dry, add the photo! Before printing, we used Microsoft Word to add a quote to one of ours. You could also handwrite a note on the photo or puzzle pieces.
