Q: What motivated the Austin Telco team to be involved with The House that Credit Unions Built?
A: The credit union philosophy of People Helping People drives us to embrace such opportunities as those presented with The House that Credit Unions Built.
Q: What type of connections have you made during this partnership with the other credit unions?
A: There has always been a fellowship and friendliness amongst our local credit unions and working together in this endeavor has only strengthened that.

Q: How has the affordable housing crisis impacted the work that you do?
A: We see a greater need for some in the community. It is difficult for those who are less fortunate. Partnerships such as Austin Habitat for Humanity and The House That Credit Unions Built are great opportunities to help those in need.
Q: Which of THE SEVEN credit union COOPERATIVE PRINCIPLES ARE shared THROUGH this partnership?
A: I believe that cooperation among cooperatives is definitely exemplified through this build. We are definitely serving the community by working together.

Q: What has been your favorite part of this build?
A: My favorite part of the build is and will be seeing the happy faces of the family who is able to walk into their new home.
