Diana is a survivor who has achieved her health and independence, and wants to pay it forward for her family in a home of their own! A native Austinite, Diana works hard as a food service manager for the Austin Independent School District, but she was been unable to afford more than a one-bedroom apartment in North Austin. She’s had to deal with parking issues, cramped space, loud noise, and other housing issues – particularly difficult for Diana as a cancer survivor focused on her wellness. And she doesn’t have the room to take in her 14-year-old grandson, who is currently in foster care. Diana realized that a home of her own is the best option for her and her family, which also includes a college-age granddaughter, but she didn’t think she would be able to make it work.
She is grateful for the support of SailPoint for her home!
